My training and experience is in Autism, Neurological Diversity, Trauma, Adoption and Third Culture Kids (TCKs). My work integrates understanding of each client's strengths and concerns providing them with fresh perspectives and comprehensive care.
Autism Spectrum/ADHD/Learning Differences
We are defined by our abilities, achievements and limitations. People living with neurological differences are often defined by limitations and puzzled by how to let their talents shine through. I work with each client to focus on their abilities, enhance self-awareness and develop skills for activities of daily living.
Third Culture Kids/ExPats/Trailing Spouses
Being a Global Nomad is full of excitement, learning and adjustments. The impact of a move on a career family, a marriage, a child (with or without neurological differences) is a unique experience. I am an Adult TCK. I know the journey of expatriation, repatriation and the ripple effect of growing up global, both personally and professionally.
Chronic Illness is the uninvited guest that permanently takes up residence in every part of your life. It changes your life, your work and the lives of those who love you. I work with clients to draw on their strengths and build their resilience along the “new normal” path.
Adoption is more than a piece of paper. Adoption is a life long journey for the adoptee, the parents, and the birthparents. Sometimes that journey includes living with a neurological difference. I work with clients to support their exploration and their goals along their adoption journeys.
